Changes in classification of selected fireworks and what this means to the consumer. 20 February 2008 As of 1st April 2008, changes in the legislation of fireworks come into effect. Fireworks that contain more than 5% flash powder will be re-classified from 1.4G to 1.3G. What does this mean to the general public and consumer?...Due to these restrictions couriers cannot deliver 1.3G fireworks (i.e. large single rockets). After the 1st of April 1.3G fireworks will only be available for collection from our retail premises.
